The Firm provides comprehensive services in all aspects of property and real estate transactions including title due diligence, sale-purchase, leasing, construction-development, mortgage and litigation in respect of industrial, commercial and residential property.
LITIGATION
The Firm is handling litigation matters throughout Tanzania including the Court of Appeal of Tanzania and various High Courts. The Firm’s advocates are members of Tanganyika Law Society. The litigation team is effectively handling following categories of cases: Civil litigation including recovery cases, corporate litigation, Criminal litigation, matrimonial litigation, probate and administration of estates, etc.
CONSTITUTIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE LAW
The Firm represents clients who may have a constitutional and administrative claims, gives effective advice on interpretation and application of Constitutional and Administrative law. It handles litigation relating to interpretation of Constitution, human rights abuses. It also represents a wide range of private and public sector clients before court of law and administrative agencies.
BANKING AND FINANCE
The Firm advises clients on regulatory matters, lending and prepare the essential documentation. We also advise and assist borrowers, buyers and financial institutions in transactions, including, asset acquisition, and securitization, project financing, and banking transaction documentation including bank guarantees, letters of credit and other trade finance documentation.
LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW
The Firm advises its clients on the legal aspects of employment and labour law to ensure full compliance with all the applicable laws and provisions. It further represents client’s matters of breach of the employment law. Our services in this category include representation in the labour court, advice on termination of employment and on retrenchment and drafting of Employment Contracts.
FAMILY AND MATRIMONIAL LAW
The Firm handles all areas of matrimonial law and provides advice on divorce, injunction, custody and maintenance of children, adoption and all matters relating to family property, wills and inheritance.
